I qualify for scholarship.

You qualify for a $500 scholarship if you're female, a veteran of the U.S. Military, or from an ethnic minority group underrepresented in the software engineering field (African American, Chicano/Latino, Native American, Pacific Islander). The tech world is notoriously unrepresentative of the larger population. We believe that the sooner that changes, the better off we all are.

Dev Bootcamp Hacks: Learn in Chicago, Launch in the Valley

Posted on 11 Jan 2013 by Dave Hoover

Now that we have two locations, we're finding that some incoming students are using them in ways we hadn't anticipated.

Most people don't realize that starting on March 7th, Dev Bootcamp will be holding an Employer Day every 3 weeks in Chicago and SF for the rest of the year.

Most people don't realize that all Dev Bootcamp alumni have access to all of our Employer Days, in both locations. Since our February and March cohorts in San Francisco are full, some aspiring Silicon Valley software developers are choosing to spend their Winter in Chicago, and then attend our Employer Days in San Francisco this Spring. Such a great hack!

To sum up: There's no faster way to get a job in the Bay Area than to attend Dev Bootcamp in Chicago.
