It’s great, fun, exhausting, and hard! It’s collaborative and social, and also very intense and challenging. Your day will begin at 8AM or 9AM (depending on location) and core hours end at 5PM or 6PM (depending on location). The day-to-day routine varies, but it usually includes a talk or demonstration from an instructor, pair programming on coding challenges, or a group or solo project. There will be a lunch break during which you are encouraged to get away from your computer and get fresh air, exercise, eat lunch with friends, or take a nap. Throughout the day there may also be lightning talks, lunchtime workshops, or an evening event. Students are encouraged to stay after core hours to catch up on the day’s work, work on stretch challenges and continue group work.
